Minister Celina Kombani Dies in India !!!

The late Celina Kombani

  Celina Ompeshi Kombani, was a Tanzania CCM politician and Member of Parliament for Ulanga East constituency from 2005 to 2015 who also served as Minister of State in the President's Office for Public Service Management.

Ms Celina(56), has died in India while receiving treatment.The Clerk of the National Assembly, Dr Thomas Kashilillah, and other Members of Parliament told this newspaper yesterday night that the late Kombani was suffering from diabetes and blood pressure.

According to Dr Kashilillah, the late Kombani was battling with the two ailments for a long time and that her body would be brought back from India on Saturday. The senior Bunge official added that currently, parliament and the government were arranging burial arrangements with the deceased's family.

Until her death, the late Kombani was MP for Ulanga East in Morogoro Region. She was re-contesting the seat in next month's general elections.

Apart from being the Minister in the President's Office, Public Service Management, the late Kombani also once served as the Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (Tamisemi) and Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs.
